Renewable energy

Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are replenished constantly. Renewable energy can be used again and again. It will never run out. Renewable energy does not have a limited supply. Derived from resources that are naturally regenerative or are practically inexhaustible. Below is a list of renewable energy sources:

  • Biomass
  • Geothermal
  • Hydro
  • Solar
  • Tidal
  • Wave
  • Wind
  • Wood

Renewable energy derives directly from the sun, or from heat generated deep within the earth. Included in the definition is electricity and heat generated from solar, wind, ocean, hydropower, biomass, geothermal resources, and biofuels and hydrogen derived from renewable resources.
