🌱 Who We Are
EcoAge is a youth-led sustainability initiative founded by Nikhil Lemos, working at the intersection of engineering, climate action, and community empowerment. We design and scale practical solutions that reduce environmental impact while ensuring accessibility across diverse communities—especially those often excluded from climate innovation.

🌏 Our Vision
We envision a world where sustainability is not a privilege, but a default—where every household, community, and individual has access to solutions that enable low-carbon, resource-efficient living.
We are the world. We are the children.
⚙️ What We Do
1. Engineering Sustainable Solutions
We develop scalable technologies that address real-world environmental challenges. From water conservation systems like ThermoCatch to preventive healthcare innovations that reduce biomedical waste, our solutions focus on efficiency, accessibility, and real-world adoption.
2. Climate Education & Behavioural Change
Through our Elder Allies initiative, we empower senior citizens with climate-conscious digital skills—promoting low-carbon lifestyles, reducing unnecessary travel, and encouraging responsible e-waste practices. We believe sustainability begins with everyday actions.
3. Policy & Advocacy
EcoAge contributes to shaping sustainability-driven innovation ecosystems. Through engagements with national programs like the Atal Innovation Mission and global platforms such as UNICEF, we advocate for inclusive, scalable, and human-centred climate solutions.
4. Global Youth Network
EcoAge operates through a growing international network of chapters and volunteers, enabling young changemakers to implement sustainability initiatives in their local communities while contributing to a shared global mission.
📊 Projected Impact
– 500+ projected households targeted for water conservation through ThermoCatch
– 11M+ litres of water conserved annually (at scale)
– 20,000+ schools impacted through sustainability-driven STEM outreach
– 30+ international chapters and 1000+ volunteers
– 100,000+ senior citizens engaged through community initiatives
🧠 Our Approach
We believe sustainability is not just about innovation—it is about adoption.
Our work combines:
– Engineering → Building efficient, scalable solutions
– Empathy → Designing for real people and real constraints
– Education → Enabling behaviour change at the grassroots
– Policy → Scaling impact through systems and institutions
